TESSENDERLO – Allimex Green Power proudly presents Feather, the latest mounting profile with innovative design. Feather is the latest addition to the ALLiHOME range. The profile is lighter, stronger and more user-friendly than other profiles with square design.
ALLiHOME is the universal house system for various pitched roof types. The mounting system is now complemented by a variation of the well-known 40×40 mounting profile. The new version named Feather has been redesigned and is therefore lighter, stronger and more user-friendly.
Clever design
The basis for the new design was three important values: sustainable use of materials, strength and ergonomics. A high-quality product with as few raw materials and materials as possible, that was the goal. The ergonomic aspect translates into safety and physical strain for the installers, as well as efficiency during installation. Sustainability is not only the impact on the environment, but also on the installer.
Tested and approved
The new design was subjected to physical strength tests at UHasselt’s Concrete and Construction Application Center. These show that at an orientation of 22 degrees, the Feather profile is up to almost 13% stronger than the standard 40×40 profile. The unique design with rounded corners offers installers a larger support surface to walk on. This is immediately safer, too. In addition, the custom profile length and light weight facilitate installation on the roof.
Thanks to Feather’s unique design, less aluminum is needed to produce the profiles. This resulted in a reduction in CO2 emissions of no less than 30%! Feather is thus clearly less damaging to the environment and helps to reduce the ecological footprint.
With Feather to a more sustainable future
It is necessary to be more sustainable and efficient with the use of raw materials. The processing of raw materials always causes an impact on the environment and Allimex Green Power wants to keep this impact as small as possible. They do this by designing products smarter or redesigning them to save material.
Feather is lighter, stronger and easy to take apart for 100% recycling. The rest of the ALLiHOME range will also be further developed and optimized with a focus on ergonomics and the environment. This way, Allimex Green Power tries to make the life cycle of their products as long as possible.
